The paper develops a methods for constructing sets of nodes for bidimensional Lagrange interpolation. Bounds for the associated Lebesgue constants are derived as well, and it can be seen that the interpolation nodes provide relatively good approximation properties. The approach is based on a very detailed study of intertwining Leja sequences.
