The paper is devoted to the problem of understanding if a non-ergodic system can be split into ergodic ones in such a way that it can inherit some properties from the former one. The study is based on the use of measurable maps defined on complete separable metric spaces with Borel probability measure, using the Rokhlin disintegration theorem.
