In this paper, the authors define the John-Nirenberg radius at a point \(x\) for a positive function \(u\in W^{1,n}\). By using the John-Nirenberg radius, they prove a well-known result: a positive harmonic function defined in a domain of a manifold with a point removed is either a Green function or smooth across the removed point, and they also study a collapsing sequence of metrics in conformal geometry, and they prove that the \(\epsilon\)-regularity is a corollary of John-Nirenberg inequality, and they also obtain a generalized Hélein convergence theorem and some other interesting results.
