The author explains the derivation of explicit representations for the elliptic Painlevé equation on \(\mathbb{P}^1\times \mathbb{P}^1\). He also discusses the possibility to express the elliptic Painlevé equation in factorized form. To this end he uses the Picard lattice associated with the blow-up of \(\mathbb{P}^1\times \mathbb{P}^1\) at \(8\) generic points and the scalar product defined by the intersection number of divisor classes multiplied by \(-1\). This paper is a supplement to the topical review [\textit{K. Kajiwara} et al., J. Phys. A, Math. Theor. 50, No. 7, Article ID 073001, 164 p. (2017; Zbl 1441.34095)].
