Let \(n\) be an integer and \(f\) be a non-constant meromorphic function in the complex plane \(\mathbb{C}\). In this paper, the authors consider sharing value problems on \(F(z)=f(z)^n\). It is known that if \(n\geq4\), and \(F(z)\) and \(F'(z)\) share~1~CM, then \(F(z)=F'(z)\) and \(f(z)\) assumes the form \(f(z)=Ce^{z/n}\), where \(C\) is a nonzero constant. By means of the difference analogues of the Nevanlinna theory, the authors consider the difference counterparts of this result with a shift \(f(z+c)\), where \(c(\ne0)\) is a constant. One of the main results in this paper is the following. \par Suppose that \(f(z)\) is of hyper-order strictly less than \(1\), and \(n\geq3\). If \(F(z)\) and \(F(z+c)\) share \(a(\ne 0)\in \mathbb{C}\) and \(\infty\) CM, then \(f(z)=t_1f(z+c)\) or \(f(z)=t_2f(z+2c)\), where \(t_1\) and \(t_2\) satisfy \(t^n_i=1\), \(i=1, 2\). This result is an improvement of the author's results of \textit{X.-G. Qi} et al., [Comput. Math. Appl. 60, No. 6, 1739--1746 (2010; Zbl 1202.30045)].
