On irreducible products of characters (Q2659109)

In this interesting paper, the authors consider the product of two non-linear Galois conjugate irreducible characters of a finite group. The authors show that if this product is irreducible then \(F(G)=Z(G)\). Moreover, if \(G\) is a quasi-simple then the structure of \(G\) is determined. Another result of the paper deals with two non-linear irreducible characters of a finite group and proves that if their product is irreducible then the structure of \(G\) is restricted.
