On homotopies of morphisms and admissible mappings (Q2659581)

\textit{L. Gorniewicz} and \textit{A. Granas} [J. Math. Pures Appl. (9) 60, 361--373 (1981; Zbl 0482.55002)] defined a category of morphisms which allows to treat fixed point problems for a broad class of multivalued maps as coincidence problems for single-valued maps. In this paper, the authors check basic properties of this category. In particular, they prove that homotopy in this category is an equivalence relation. Also, the authors introduce a new notion of homotopy and define a local coincidence index for morphisms.
