This paper is concerned with the limit cycles which bifurcate from a zero-Hopf equilibrium of a \(n\)-dimensional system with cubic nonlinearities. The authors investigate the system of the averaged functions of the second order and obtain that these functions admit at most \(3^{n-2}\) real zeros by the Bezout Theorem. By using the averaging theory, at least \(3^{n-2}\) limit cycles bifurcating from zero-Hopf bifurcation. As an application of the main theorem, a \(6\)-dimensional system is studied in order to illustrate the obtained results.
