The authors investigate the robustness of regularity for the 3D convective Brinkman-Forchheimer equations on the three-dimensional torus. These equations are in fact the Navier-Stokes equations supplemented with an (additive) absorption term (which involves an absorption exponent). Using the approach of the robustness of regularity introduced by \textit{P. Constantin} [Commun. Math. Phys. 104, 311--326 (1986; Zbl 0655.76041); Navier-Stokes equations. Chicago, IL etc.: University of Chicago Press (1988; Zbl 0687.35071)] for the Euler equations, they manage to show that, in the case in which the absorption exponent is greater than or equal to 1 and (at the same time) less than or equal to 3, the strong solutions of the considered equations remain strong when the initial condition and forcing function are affected by small enough variations.
