On a quasilinear elliptic equation with superlinear nonlinearities (Q266205)

The authors are concerned with the study of quasilinear elliptic problems in divergence form posed on an open (possibly unbounded) set. There is one main result in the paper which establishes the existence of a nontrivial weak solution for the problem. The approach relies on Galerkin method, Brouwer's theorem and the compact embeddings between some weighted Sobolev spaces.
