This article presents the nonstationary, compressible Stokes equations in a three dimensional cone. The aim is to obtain existence and uniqueness results in weighted Sobolev spaces and a regularity property for the solution. By means of the Laplace transformation with respect to the time variable, the initial nonstationary Stokes system is replaced by a parameter-depending problem. The authors prove the existence of a unique weak solution for this problem in some weighted Sobolev spaces depending on a parameter \(\beta\), if \(|\beta|\) is sufficiently small. In the next section, the existence and uniqueness of the solution of the parameter-depending problem are obtained in more regular weighted spaces for two specific \(\beta\)-intervals. In the last section, the results obtained for the parameter-depending problem are applied in order to establish an existence-uniqueness result for the initial nonstationary Stokes system.
