All exact Borel subalgebras and all directed bocses are normal (Q2664498)

The main result of the paper shows that every exact Borel subalgebra a quasihereditary algebra is normal. As a corollary it is deduced that every directed bocs is normal in the sense that it has a group-like element. These results allow the following simplification of a result from [\textit{T. Brzeziński} et al., Bull. Lond. Math. Soc. 52, No. 2, 367--378 (2020; Zbl 1477.16019)]: over an algebraically closed field, there is a one-to-one correspondence between directed bocses and quasihereditary algebras with a homological exact Borel subalgebra, which restricts to a bijection between regular directed bocses and quasihereditary algebras with a regular exact Borel subalgebra.
