For a class of algebras \(\mathcal{A}\), denote by \(\mathcal{A}_1\) the class of algebras in which every singly generated algebra belongs to the class \(\mathcal{A}\). We similarly define \(\mathcal{A}_2\) as the class of algebras in which every two-generated algebra belongs to the class \(\mathcal{A}\). An algebra \(A\) is called a \textit{mono \(\mathcal{A}\)-algebra} if \(A\in \mathcal{A}_1\), and a \textit{binary \(\mathcal{A}\)-algebra} if \(A\in \mathcal{A}_2\). Recall that an algebra is called a (left) \textit{Leibniz algebra} if it satisfies the following identity: \[ (ab)c=a(bc)-b(ac). \] The defining identities of the class of mono Leibniz algebras over an infinite field were given in the paper by [\textit{A. T. Gaĭnov}, Algebra Logic 49, No. 2, 115--119 (2010; Zbl 1218.17004); translation from Algebra Logika 49, No. 2, 175--180 (2010)]. Namely, an algebra is a mono Leibniz algebra if and only if the following identities hold in it: \[ (aa)a=0, \] \[ (aa)(aa)=0. \] In the present paper, the authors describe the defining identities of the variety of the binary Leibniz algebras.
