The authors consider some extensions of the known Kantorovich fixed point theorem in which the existence of a fixed point for an operator in a Banach space is deduced from the presence of a fixed point of a majorizing real function. Some results on the existence and uniqueness of fixed points, coincidence points and convergence of iterative procedures for single-valued and multivalued maps obtained in the paper [\textit{A. V. Arutyunov} et al., Proc. Steklov Inst. Math. 304, 60--73 (2019; Zbl 1439.54025); translation from Tr. Mat. Inst. Steklova 304, 68--82 (2019)] are generalized to the case of maps in vector metric spaces, i.e., spaces whose metric takes its values in a cone of a Banach space.
