In this paper the effect of Hall current and rotation on Rayleigh wave propagation in a nonlocal isotropic thermoelastic medium is studied. The authors establish a mathematical model, and then the secular equations of surface waves are derived. Wave properties such as stress components, attenuation coefficient, etc. have been found and visualized graphically. It is shown that the nonlocal parameter and effect of Hall current lead to a significant variation of the magnitude of various wave characteristics. This research can find applications in studying earthquakes.
