The authors discuss, first of all, the fundamentals about anti-de Sitter geometry and the anti-de Sitter polyhedra. The special case of hyperideal polyhedra in the 3-dimensional anti-de Sitter space \(Ad\mathbb{S}^3\) are defined and studied. A (convex) hyperideal polyhedron in \(Ad\mathbb{S}^3\) is the intersection of \(Ad\mathbb{S}^3\) with a convex polyhedron in \(\mathbb{RP}^3\) whose vertices are all outside of \(Ad\mathbb{S}^3\) and whose edges all intersect \(Ad\mathbb{S}^3\). For a hyperideal polyhedron in \(Ad\mathbb{S}^3\) the exterior dihedral angle is defined. The main results of this paper refer to describing the dihedral angles and induced metrics on hyperideal polyhedra in \(Ad\mathbb{S}^3\). It is shown that the dihedral angles of a hyperideal polyhedron \(P\) in \(Ad\mathbb{S}^3\) uniquely determine, together with an additional combinatorial data, the hyperideal polyhedron \(P\). Also, the induced metrics on its boundary together with additional combinatorics uniquely determine the hyperideal polyhedron \(P\).
