The purpose of this article is to find a closed-form formula for two coefficients of the \(q\)-Dyson style product. First, some preliminary computations with Laurent polynomials are made together with the \(q\)-binomial theorem. Then tournaments on \(n\) vertices are considered. The whole paper focuses on iterated multiple Laurent series. This is usually called the field of fractions. In the proofs, the different quoted theorems are not specified line by line, instead nontransitive tournaments and induction are used. The conclusion of \textit{R. Askey} [SIAM J. Math. Anal. 11, 938--951 (1980; Zbl 0458.33002)] that Laurent series are dangerous, and should not be treated formally as formal power series is not taken into account.
