Let \(L\) be a finite dimensional Lie algebra over a field of characteristic 0, and denote by \(S(L)\) its soluble radical, and by \(N(L)\) its largest nilpotent ideal. It is well known that for every derivation \(\delta\) of \(L\) one has \(\delta(S(L))\subseteq N(L)\). The paper under review aims at generalizing the above mentioned classical result. The author works over an associative and commutative unital ring \(F\) instead of a field, and requires that \(F\) be an algebra over a field of characteristic 0. If \(L\) is a locally generalized special Lie algebra, and \(T(L)\) is its weakly soluble radical then \(\delta(T(L))\subseteq LN(L)\). Here \(\delta\) is a locally strongly algebraic derivation, and \(LN(L)\) stands for the largest locally nilpotent ideal of \(L\).
