Inverse spectral problem for the transmission eigenvalue problem \(R(a, q)\) consists in recovering the potential \(q(x)\) from all the transmission eigenvalues. In this work, the authors consider the stability of the inverse transmission eigenvalue problem for the Schrödinger operator with a radial potential \(q \in W_{2}^{1}[0,1].\) They give the characteristic function, and provide a more precise estimate for the \(\ell^{2}\)-sequence \(\{\alpha_{n}\}\). The authors construct a Riesz basis of \(L^{2}(0, 2)\) by using the eigenvalues \(\{\lambda_{n}\}_{n\geq2}\) and the number 0, and give some properties of the Riesz basis. By using the theory of transformation operators and the properties of Riesz basis, they study the estimates for the difference of two potentials in the sense of the weak form and \( W_{2}^{1}\)-norm, in terms of the difference of two corresponding spectral data. The authors also obtain that if only finite spectral data are close enough, then the corresponding potentials are also close in the sense of the weak form. In this paper, the authors consider the stability of the inverse spectral problems for the problem \(R(1, q)\) formulated by \textit{S. A. Buterin} et al. [Inverse Probl. 36, No. 10, Article ID 105002, 20 p. (2020; Zbl 1454.34036)] with \(q\in\tau(Q).\) By considering that the potentials are in a ball with radius \(Q,\) they give a stability estimate without the condition \(\Lambda\leq\delta\). Furthermore, since only finite data can be measured in real experiment, the authors also study the stability with finite data. This paper can be viewed as the extension of the previous work [\textit{X.-C. Xu} et al., J. Differ. Equations 316, 222--248 (2022; Zbl 07486715)], there the stability is studied for the case \(a\neq 1\). In this paper, there is almost no difference to deal with the case of complex-valued potential and the case of real-valued potential. Thus the authors consider the general case that the potential is assumed to be complex-valued.
