The aim of the authors is to consider a kind of parabolic differential equation and study an initial-boundary value problem for a class of pseudo-parabolic equations of nonlinear shape. The nonlinearity is of logarithmic type. The peculiarity of this study is that the problem is divided in two cases: First is the case where the exponent ``\(p\)'' of the solution ``\(u\)'' is between 1 and 2, and second is the case where \(p\) is between 2 and the Sobolev exponent \(2^*\). The method to obtain the results is to construct suitable approximate solutions \(u_m(x, t)\) of the original problem, to get a priori estimates of the approximate solutions \(u_m(x, t)\), and then, by Gronwall Lemma, Sobolev inequality and compact embeddings the results are obtained.
