This paper aims to classify all torsion classes for algebras with radical square zero. Let \(A\) be a finite dimensional basic algebra over a field with radical square zero, \(\bmod A\) the category of finite dimensional right \(A\)-modules, and \(n\) the number of simple right \(A\)-modules. The author proves that for each \(\varepsilon \in\{\pm 1\}^n\), there is a hereditary algebra \(A^!_\varepsilon\) with radical square zero, and an isomorphism of posets between the poset of torsion classes of \(\bmod A\) associated to \(\varepsilon\) and the poset of faithful torsion classes of \(\bmod A^!_\varepsilon\), which preserves functorial finiteness and induces an isomorphism of posets between the poset of isomorphism classes of basic two-term silting complexes for \(A\) associated to \(\varepsilon\) and the poset of isomorphism classes of basic tilting \(A^!_\varepsilon\)-modules. As applications, he shows that the number of two-term tilting complexes over Brauer line algebras (respectively, Brauer cycle algebras) having \(n\) edges is \(binom{2n}{n}\) (respectively, \(2^{2n-1}\) if \(n\) is odd, and \(\infty\) if \(n\) is even).
