\textit{J. Lepowsky} and \textit{R. L. Wilson} [Invent. Math. 79, 417--442 (1985; Zbl 0577.17010)] were the first to exhibit a connection between Rogers-Ramanujan-type partition identities and representation theory. Shortly after, studying representations of a different Lie algebra, \textit{S. Capparelli} [J. Algebra 154, No. 2, 335--355 (1993; Zbl 0774.17029)] discovered a partition identity yet unknown to combinatorialists. Since then, interactions between representation theory and partition identities have been very fruitful, giving rise to many new identities, such as Primc's identity from crystal base theory. In spite of the fact that these two identities did not seem related from the representation theoretic point of view, it was combinatorially shown that Capparelli's identity can be deduced from Primc's identity. In this interesting paper, the authors provide infinite families of coloured partition identities which generalise Primc's and Capparelli's classical identities.
