The author proves that for unimodal interval maps, which are produced by restricting quadratic rational maps with real coefficients and real critical points, the topological entropy is monotone. Specifically, the author's main aim is to prove the monotonicity in the unimodal zone: Theorem. There are no bone-loops in the unimodal region of the moduli space of real quadratic rational maps. As a consequence, the entropy function is monotone in the unimodal region. In addition, the author gives a positive answer to some interesting conjectures given in [\textit{K. Filom}, Nonlinearity 34, No. 9, 6587--6626 (2021; Zbl 1484.37051)].
