The \(n\)-dimensional Einstein universe \(\mathrm{Ein}_{1,n-1}\) is the projectivization of the nullcone in the \((n + 2)\)-dimensional real vector space endowed with a quadratic form of signature \((2,n)\). In this article nontransitive irreducible and transitive reducible conformal actions on the Einstein universe are investigated. When the action is nontransitive and irreducible, the dimension and the causal character of the induced orbits in the nullcone and then in the Einstein universe are described. Any such nontransitive action induces an open orbit in the Einstein universe and the orbit space is finite. This paper can be considered as the final step in the study of irreducible actions on the Einstein universe. Also reducible transitive actions on the Einstein universe are considered.
