Relationship between the extremality of a manifold and that of an affine image of the topological product of its several copies (Q2680730)

The present paper deals with ``the relationship between the extremality of a manifold and that of an affine image of the product of its several copies''. It is noted that ``considering a special affine image of a topological product, one can show that the extremality of this image is sufficient for that of the manifold''. In the introduction, the authors discuss references on a convenient technique to obtain new families of extremal manifolds, the extremality of a topological product of one-dimensional manifolds, and a new technique for studying extremal manifolds. To proof the main theorem, several auxiliary known results are recalled and two lemmas are proven.
