It is now well known that Hochschild cohomology of an associative algebra carries a Gerstenhaber algebra structure. The authors show that the same is true for the Hochschild cohomology of an associative conformal algebra, that is: they define a graded commutative cup product (Theorem 4.2) on the Hochschild cohomology of an associative conformal algebra and, they define a graded Lie bracket of degree \(-1\) (Theorem 3.5) which satisfies Leibniz rule with respect to the cup product (Theorem 5.4). Conformal algebras are some algebraic structure which were invented in order to describe some operator product in conformal field theory. Section 6 is devoted to the relation (using the so-called ``Hochschild projective morphism'') between Hochschild cohomology of an associative conformal algebra and the Hochschild cohomology of it's split extension by a conformal bimodule.
