For many fibred systems the existence of an absolutely continuous invariant measure can be proved but considerably less is known about the shape of the density which will be called an invariant density. In this paper invariant densities for two types of fibred systems are discussed. Piecewise fractional linear maps with four branches are considered. It extends the investigations of piecewise fractional linear maps with three branches. Maps which are associated to continued fractions with increasing digits are discussed. There are many examples of maps which have a non-finite invariant measure. This can be due to the existence of neutral fixed points. Examples of maps which do not have a neutral fixed point are given, but their invariant measures are not finite. There are also maps such that the set of points which miss the digit \(k=1\) has positive Lebesgue measure.
