The present paper deals with a certain representation of real numbers with an infinite alphabet and with some sets whose elements are defined by this representation. A probability distribution (supported by \(\mathbb N\)) such that induces a certain representation of real numbers in \([0, 1)\) with digits in \(\mathbb N\), is considered. The Hausdorff dimensions of sets with prescribed digits and of sets with prescribed frequencies of digits with respect to this representation, are investigated. In addition, the geometric distribution, the Poisson distribution and the zeta distribution are noted as examples.
