The paper deals with symmetrizations with respect of a family of the subspaces that enjoy the properties of monotonicity, invariance under reflections and orthogonal translations. The author finds new theorems on the Hausdorff convergence of symmetrizations and provides a few of their implications. In particular, he generalizes a result of \textit{D. Coupier} and \textit{Yu. Davydov} [Adv. Appl. Probab. 46, No. 3, 603--621 (2014; Zbl 1319.60012)].
