The author conjectured at the end of the 90's that for any compact Lie group \(G\), there is an abelian category \(\mathcal A(G)\) attached whose derived category is equivalent to the homotopy category of rational \(G\)-spectra. There has been consistent progress over time, see for instance the papers in this series, the references therein, and the survey [\textit{D. Barnes} and \textit{M. Kȩdziorek}, Lond. Math. Soc. Lect. Note Ser. 474, 119--179 (2022; Zbl 1490.55006)]. In this paper, the author constructs an abelian category \(\mathcal A_t(G)\) called the \textit{torsion model} when \(G=S^1 \times \cdots \times S^1\) is the \(n\)-torus. This generalizes the construction given in [\textit{J. P. C. Greenlees}, Rational \(S^1\)-equivariant stable homotopy theory. Providence, RI: American Mathematical Society (AMS) (1999; Zbl 0921.55001)] when \(G\) is the circle. The category \(\mathcal A_t(G)\) is built from torsion modules over the polynomial rings \(H^*(BG/K)\) as \(K\) ranges over the subgroups of \(G\). This category is shown to have enough injectives and finite injective dimension. A homology theory \[ \pi_*^{\mathcal A_t} : G\text{-Spectra} \to \mathcal A_t(G) \] is developed, and for any \(G\)-spectra \(X\) and \(Y\), there is a strongly convergent Adams spectral sequence \[ \operatorname{Ext}^{*,*}_{\mathcal A_t(G)} \left(\pi_*^{\mathcal A_t}(X), \pi_*^{\mathcal A_t}(Y)\right) \quad \Longrightarrow \quad \left[X,Y\right]_*^G. \] This paper can be read independently of the rest of items in the series.
