The author consider the following chemotaxis-Stokes system \[ \begin{cases} n_t+u\cdot\nabla n=\nabla\cdot(D(n)\nabla n)-\nabla\cdot(nS(x,n,c)\cdot\nabla c), &x\in\Omega,\ t>0, \\ c_t+u\cdot\nabla c=\Delta c-nc, &x\in\Omega,\ t>0, \\ u_t=\Delta u+\nabla P+n\nabla\Phi,\ \nabla\cdot u=0, &x\in\Omega,\ t>0, \\ (D(n)\nabla n-nS(x,n,c)\cdot\nabla c)\cdot\nu=0,\nabla c\cdot\nu=0,\ u=0,\ &x\in\partial\Omega,\ t>0, \\ n(x,0)=n_0,\ c(x,0)=c_0,\ u(x,0)=u_0, &x\in\Omega, \end{cases} \] which arises in the description of collective behavior in populations of aerobic bacteria swimming in a smoothly bounded convex domain \(\Omega\subset \mathbb{R}^3\), with given suitably regular functions \(D,S,\Phi\). The author prove that the above system admits a global bounded weak solution, classical if additionally \(D(0) > 0\). When combined with previously known results, this particularly implies global existence of bounded solutions when \(D(n)=n^{m-1},n\ge0\), with arbitrary \(m > 1\), but beyond this asserts global boundedness also in the presence of diffusivities which exhibit arbitrarily slow divergence to \(+\infty\) at large densities and of possibly singular chemotactic sensitivities.
