A characterization of congruences modulo 4 on a SPT function of overpartitions (Q2689953)

In this article, the author presents a characterization of congruences modulo 4 on \(\overline{spt}(n)\) which lead to an infinite set of Ramanujan-like congruences modulo 4 satisfied by \(\overline{spt}(n)\). The mail result is stated as Theorem \(1.1\) and its proof is discussed in Section \(3\), using the findings of \textit{M. Bian} et al. [Ramanujan J. 57, No. 2, 823--844 (2022; Zbl 1490.11100)], \textit{B. C. Berndt} [Ramanujan's Notebooks. Part III. New York, NY: Springer (1991), p.40, Entry 25(v), (vi)] and \textit{Z. Sun} [J. Number Theory 129, No. 5, 971--989 (2009; Zbl 1216.11044)]. Some supporting results are presented in Section 2. A concluding remark is given in Section 4, suggesting further research direction.
