    For \(x=(x_1,\ldots,x_d,x_{d+1})\in {\mathbb R}^d \times (0,\infty)\) and \(\alpha > - \frac{1}{2}\), the Weinstein operator is the singular Laplace--Bessel differential operator \[ \Delta_{\mathrm W} =\sum_{j=1}^d \frac{\partial^2}{\partial x_j^2} + \Big(\frac{\partial^2}{\partial x_{d+1}^2} + \frac{2\alpha + 1}{x_{d+1}}\,\frac{\partial}{\partial x_{d+1}}\Big)\,. \] Using basic concepts of harmonic analysis associated with \(\Delta_{\mathrm W}\) in the Hilbert space \(L_{\alpha}^2({\mathbb R}^d \times (0,\infty))\) with the weight \[ {\mathrm d}\mu_{\alpha}(x) = \frac{x_{d+1}^{2\alpha + 1}}{(2 \pi)^{d/2}\, 2^{\alpha}\,\Gamma(\alpha + 1)} {\mathrm d}x\,, \] the authors present three types of wavelet packets connected to \(\Delta_{\mathrm W}\). For the corresponding wavelet packet transforms, Parseval formulas and reconstruction formulas are shown. Examples and applications are not given.
