Let \(S\) be a finite subset of a group \(G\). Denote the set of all-possible products of the form \(a_1\cdot a_t\), where \(a_i\in S\) by \(S^{t}\). Chang proved that for any finite subset of the free group not belonging to any cyclic subgroup, there exist constants \(c, \delta > 0\) such that \[ |S^{3}> c|S|(1+\delta). \] Later, authors including Rayborov and Safin improved this result. In the paper under review, which is written by well-known experts of the subject, the degrees of finite symmetrized subsets \(S\) of free Burnside groups of odd period \(n \geq 1003\) are considered. The following result is proved: Theorem. For any finite symmetrized subject \(S\) of the free Burnside group \(B(m,n)\), the inequality \[ |S|^{t}\geq 4 \times 2. 9^{\frac{t}{(400s)^{3}}} \] holds, where \(s\) is the least odd divisor of \(n\) greater than \(1002\).
