Ahlfors' contribution to the theory of meromorphic functions (Q2702307)

The author writes, that his article is an exposition for non-specialists of Ahlors' work in the theory of meromorphic functions. He picked out three types of results of Ahlfors concerning of the Nevanlinna theory. A. Eremenko says that the first volume of collected papers of Ahlfors (1982) supplied with Ahlfors own commentaries and Drasin's article (1988) are two very good sources about this early work of Ahlfors.
