Congruences on normal transformation semigroups (Q2704584)

Let \(S_n\) denote the symmetric group on a finite \(n\)-element set \(N\). A semigroup \(S\) of transformations of \(N\) is said to be \(S_n\)-normal if it is invariant with respect to conjugation by elements of \(S_n\). The author describes the congruences on all the \(S_n\)-normal semigroups of partial or total transformations on \(N\). In addition to this, she characterizes those \(S_n\)-normal semigroups whose lattices of congruences are chains.
