The paper studies various almost CR submanifolds arising in the total space of the tangent bundle of a Riemannian manifold, endowed with the Sasaki metric and the natural almost complex structure. The author derives conditions under which the formal Frobenius integrability property is satisfied by using the tensor \(S\) originally introduced by \textit{S. Tanno} on contact Riemannian manifolds [Trans. Am. Math. Soc. 314, No. 1, 349-379 (1989; Zbl 0677.53043)].
