This paper discusses the inverse problem of determining cracks in an electrical conducting medium by finitely many boundary measurements of voltages and current. The cracks are composed of two cases; one is perfectly conducting; the other one is perfectly insulating. The boundary is composed of two parts, one, denoted by \(\partial_A \Omega \), is accessible to measurements, but no crack edge emerges on it. The other one, denoted by \( \partial_I \Omega \), is electrically insulating, inaccessible to measurements, and cracks may emerge on it. NEWLINENEWLINENEWLINEThe author proves uniqueness results for multiple cracks, possibly emerging on the surface of the conductor in the perfectly conducting case and the perfectly insulating case, respectively.
