Perfect plasticity as a zero relaxation limit of plasticity with isotropic hardening (English)
      0 references
It is shown that the model of perfect plasticity with isotropic hardening approximates the Prandtl-Reuss model of the elastic-perfect plasticity. The approximation process presented is not of ``coercive type'' and the model of the perfect plasticity with isotropic hardening is a self-controlling model of monotone-gradient type. The Prandtl-Reuss model is studied with the von Mises flow rule. Existence, uniqueness and strong convergence results are proven. Energy and a priori estimates for the solutions are given.
