This paper is the fourth in a series by the author, the first three being [the author, Special 2-cocycles and 3--3 Pachner move relations in Grassmann algebra, {\url arXiv:1301.5581}; the author and \textit{N. M. Sadykov}, SIGMA, Symmetry Integrability Geom. Methods Appl. 9, Paper 053, 19 p., electronic only (2013; Zbl 1288.15033); the author, Lett. Math. Phys. 104, No. 10, 1235--1261 (2014; Zbl 1327.15057)]. As with any series, individual episodes can be fun and include a bit of the backstory from earlier installments, but most of the main characters are only fully introduced in the premier. The theme for the series is the construction of ``state sum'' style TQFTs for four-dimensional triangulated manifolds. The interesting proviso is that rather than a typical state sum, here the ``states'' comprise a purely-odd space, and the ``state sum'' is a Berezinian integral. Specifically, the author considers models in which one fermionic variable is attached to each 3-dimensional facet of a triangulation and the Boltzmann weights, attached to 4-dimensional facets, are Grassmann--Gaussian. The previous papers resulted in a formula, reviewed here, for a specific Boltzmann weight that is likely to lead to a fully-fledged TQFT. (This reviewer thinks it is unlikely that a purely-Gaussian, a.k.a. ``free,'' theory will produce particularly interesting TQFTs, and expects the end result of this series to be a simplicial description of some known cohomological invariants of 4-manifolds. This reviewer hopes to be proven wrong.) In order to define any ``state sum'' TQFT on triangulated manifolds, the definer must show invariance of the prescription under the well-known Pachner moves. This paper and its predecessors focus on the most interested Pachner move in four dimensions, the so-called ``3-3 move'' replacing three 4-simplices meeting at a common 2-simplex with a different arrangement of three 4-simplices meeting at a common 2-simplex. The paper's most immediate prequel ended with the following cliffhanger: for the Boltzmann weight chosen, the 3-3 move multiplies the state sum by some specific constant, but what is that constant? This paper answers that question with explicit formulas.
