On matrix summability of Jacobi series (Q2724906)

The author claims that although Nörlund summability \((N,p_n)\) of Jacobi series has been studied by various authors (citations given in the paper), yet nothing seems to have been ventured in the direction of study of Jacobi series by matrix summability method and thereby, in this paper, a theorem for the matrix summability of Jacobi series is reported. The theorem is proved by the help of seven lemmas (known). It is observed that although in keywords and phrases, there are the mentions of univalent and fractional calculus, but nothing of those types are used or mentioned throughout the paper. [\textit{D. Borwein}, J. Lond. Math. Soc. 33, 352-357 (1958; Zbl 0081.28003)] is not mentioned in the text anywhere between its 12 pages. Citation years in the body of the text are wrongly mentioned, than those given in the references.
