Extension of certain fuzzy ideals of semigroups on strong semilattices (English)
0 references
The authors investigate the concept of strong semilattice of semigroups [cf. \textit{J. M. Howie}, An introduction to semigroup theory, Academic Press, London (1976; Zbl 0355.20056)]. This concept is applied to an extension of fuzzy ideals from a base semigroup to a strong semilattice of semigroups. Such extension preserves many properties of fuzzy semigroups and fuzzy ideals presented e.g. by \textit{N. Kuroki} [Inf. Sci. 53, No. 3, 203-236 (1991; Zbl 0714.20052); ibid. 75, No. 3, 201-211 (1993; Zbl 0808.20052)].
