Completion of the magic square of even order. II (Q2731899)

The author has provided an updated version of his earlier text [Completion of the magic square of even order (London, 1978; Zbl 0443.05021)] dealing with techniques of constructing magic squares. Entries along the two diagonals are first completed, followed by entries adjacent to the diagonals, and then successively larger inner squares are completed. Methods of transforming completed magic squares to obtain other magic squares, of the same or larger order, are also presented.
