The Hankel transform and some of its properties (Q2736387)

The Hankel transforms \(H\) of integer sequences \(S\) are considered. It is shown that the invariance of the Hankel transform under application of the binomial or invert transforms holds in general. An integer sequence \(A\) and its binomial or invert transform \(B\) have the same Hankel transform. The \(LU\) decomposition of \(H\) and the relation of the first super diagonal of \(U\) to the binomial (or invert) transform, sequences with the Hankel transform of \(\{1,1,1,1,1,\dots\}\), and other families of sequences are studied.
