Motivic zeta function via dlt modification (Q274129)

Given a smooth variety \(X\) and a regular function \(f\) on it, and \(D=V(f)\) the zero divisor of \(f\). The author defines an alternative motivic zeta function \(Z_{\mathrm{dlt}}^{\mathrm{mot}}(s)\) by using a divisorial log terminal (dlt) modifications of the pair \((X,D)\). The main result (Theorem 1.2) asserts that the dlt motivic zeta function does not depend on the choice of the dlt modification.
