The author studies the solubility of the system of integral equations \(axy=bz^2+c\), \(dx-ey=fz\). The investigation is motivated by a work of \textit{A. Schinzel} and \textit{W. Sierpiński} [Elem. Math. 18, 132-133 (1963; Zbl 0126.07301)] in which they considered the system \((x^2-1)(y^2-1)=(z^2-1)^2\), \(x-y=2z\), corresponding to the special case \(a=b=d=e=1\) and \(c=f=2\). Relations between these systems and NEWLINE\[NEWLINE(a_1x^2+d_1b^2_1)(a_1y^2+d_1c^2_1)=(e_1z^2+f_1)^2NEWLINE\]NEWLINE are also discussed.
