Let \(T\) be the map defined on the space of \(\{0, 1\}\)-sequences by NEWLINE\[NEWLINE(\varepsilon_1, \varepsilon_2, \dots, \varepsilon_n,\dots) \to (\varepsilon_1, \varepsilon_1\varepsilon_2, \dots, \varepsilon_1\varepsilon_2 \cdots \varepsilon_n, \dots).NEWLINE\]NEWLINE By observing that \(T\) is an isometry, the author points out that the main results on the oriented walks obtained in [\textit{A. H. Fan}, ``Individual behaviors of oriented walks'', Stochastic Processes Appl. 90, No.~2, 263-275 (2000)] can be deduced from that on the Rademacher series obtained in [\textit{J. Wu}, ``Dimension of level sets of some Rademacher series'', C. R. Acad. Sci., Paris, Sér. I, Math. 327, 29-33 (1998; Zbl 0994.42017)].
