Aizerman's problem for orbital stability and forced oscillations (English)

The system \(y'=Ay+bf(s,t)\), \(s+cy\), \(t\geq 0\), is considered in a real Euclidean space \(\mathbb{R}^n\), where \(A\) is a constant matrix, \(b\) is a column, \(c\) is a row and \(f\) maps \(\mathbb{R}^1\times [0,\infty)\) into \(\mathbb{R}^1\). Explicit conditions for the orbital stability and for the existence of periodic solutions to the system are established. It is shown that systems with positive impulse functions satisfy the generalized Aizerman conjecture.
