An asymptotic model for the control of the structure of a material obtained as a result of emulsion hardening (English)
0 references
The authors use a mathematical model for movement and solidification of emulsion under the action of thermocapillary forces and microgravity proposed in [\textit{O. V. Vojnov} and \textit{V. V. Pukhnachev}, Prikl. Mekh. Tekh. Fiz. 30, No. 3 (1989)]. In the paper under review, the authors study the opportunity to obtain a prescribed (small concentration) disperse distribution in the solified matrix by means of a temperature control on the solid boundary. Existence of a solution is proven for the case of self-similar mode of solidification.
