A recent progress in algorithmic analysis of FIFO queues with Markovian arrival streams (English)
0 references
The paper provides a survey of a recent progress in the algorithmic analysis of work-conserving FIFO single-server queues with possibly correlated multiple non-Poissonian arrival streams governed by a continuous-time finite-state Markov chain. A particular feature of these queueing models is that the service time distribution of customers may be different for different streams.
